To LOVE my heritage is easy.
Italy has contributed more to the world than any other nation in history. One way to understand the importance of these contributions is to see what would be left if we took everything Italian from the world. What a loss for music, art, literature, engineering, fashion, and most important, life's little luxuries, fine wine and good food.
I was reared in a family where OLD WORLD VALUES & TRADITIONS were the foundation of our lifestyle.
Stability and strong family bonds were common. Although, I know we can't return to the lifestyle and values of the 60's and 70's, I do believe there is much to be learned from these traditions. The easiest place for me to start with my kids is around the kitchen table.
